With the inaugural release of the new label Purple Sky Music, Thrills unveils his first commercial project in a few years. The PLEAZE DEEPER EP brings exactly what it‘s title promises, a deeper, housier offering that aims to please and which harkens back to the sounds that seeded his love for dance music in the first place. San Francisco meets Detroit, they move to Chicago and have a honeymoon in London & Paris. “Passed Down Thank You” is built around insistent pads, solid beats and an uplifting vibe that promises and delivers good things. “Garnier” is a darker, techier beast with a growling bassline in its belly and funky percussion up its spine. To satiate this animal, it needs only one thing – dancers. “Hello There” with its scuttling bassline, atmospheric vocals and sci-fi alarm – brings an entirely different vibe to the party. Moody and playful – all the sounds work with each other to an effect which will guarantee many will be saying “howdy” to this track again and again. “UK Techno” finishes up the EP strong with driving beats and a bullying bass loop built to move some feet, a techy trip to another place. Trust us; you’ll be happy you bought a ticket.
