Thrills returns with the Dark House EP. Rich with ominous, acidic reverberations; it will lay intense vibes all over the world’s dance floors.
Approaching the open front door the sounds of DarkHouse2222's acidic underpinning pulls you forth even though it causes death's-head hawkmoths in your stomach. You feel the breath on your neck and turn to see the door has closed behind you; the repeated vocals obviously are seeking something – your body and soul. Next you find yourself Deep Inside the sinister residence; haunting pads and the foreign voices of the ghosts float about you, but making out the words they say is no easy matter. Trust us, you will get the message - move your feet. Finding yourself in the basement, Hurt Me becomes your soundtrack. Its crunchy, propulsive acid line and warped vocal samples take no prisoners. Looking for an exit, but finding only walls - Tech Ish represents a funky vibe that brings up the energy while still not straying from the EP’s noir theme. Loopy and percussive – we are tearing through this hungry house. Lastly, opening the door you’ve been seeking on this abode is TechOhNo – sinister effected samples under needle prick acid lines lay a path to the sidewalk, but I doubt you will make it past the gate. After all, you’ve always been the caretaker. I should know I’ve always been here.
